Eric Manlunas

Mr. Manlunas has over thirty years of experience in various aspects of financing and building new enterprise. He is a valuable member of our Board due to his depth of operating, strategic, and transactional experience. As a recognized business leader, Eric excels in demanding and fluid environments, often across multiple markets, continents, and cultures.
Over the past twenty years, as founder and Managing Partner of Wavemaker Partners, a cross-border venture capital firm with offices in Los Angeles and Singapore, Mr. Manlunas has been part of over 450 investments in early-stage businesses. He is adept at assimilating high
levels of complexity, balancing competing factors, and quickly forming sensible and workable strategies to achieve stability and deliver sustainable outcomes. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Eric founded, built and successfully sold two businesses, an e-commerce and Internet Service Provider, to strategic buyers.
During the early part of his career, he started as a consultant with Arthur Andersen’s Retail Management Group. Mr. Manlunas holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications from Florida International University.
